What We Do
We collectively host a podcast that discusses food/beverage through the lens of cultural and evolutionary theory. Real-life applications for very Anthropological theories.
We curate, design, edit, and publish a tri-annual, contributor-based hospitality magazine called Guest Check. We recently launched our 7th issue, now available in print and digital!
We host a traveling vendors market called HUSTLES: Night Market, featuring local small businesses, artists, services, and side hustlers.
Who We Are
We act as facilitators and amplifiers for discussions and resources that benefit hospitality workers and the conversations that we oft don’t see take place on major platforms. We want to remain a safe and respectful space yet always open the opportunity for conversations to become uncomfortable and thought-provoking.

HUSTLES: NIGHT MARKET
HUSTLES is both a growing database of hospitality worker-owned small businesses and a traveling event series.
Stay tuned for our upcoming HUSTLES markets in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, New York, and Chicago. HUSTLES always features local hustlers and vendors, local DJs, bites, and a rotating cocktail menu.
Hustles: Night Market is a mix of a cocktail party and vendors market, often hosted by a locally recognized bar or restaurant.
The market features vendors, artists, services ,and crafts made locally and often by hospitality professionals; it goes without saying, hospitality hustlers to the front! We do not charge the vendors any fees and are fully funded by our own sales and sponsor support. With the support of a local bar/restaurant, we are able to pop-up our night market, bring the grooves with local DJs, and create a custom cocktail menu featuring our sponsors.
HUSTLES is an opportunity for an ongoing network of businesses and bold hustles formed by hospitality professionals! Events feature local vendors and sellers.
